Well, I finally gave up on the Chevron and just bound off. I think it was the color combination that was boring me. It looks great - since it was just one color of Artyarns it ended up looking like an impressionist painting, instead of having the variety that other Chevron's have had.

I have to say your chevron is beeeeyoootiful! I was looking at Scout's on flickr and then saw your's and decided i needed to go buy the book. Just beautiful. Great choice in yarn. I can;t wait to get the book
