Frozen North, here we come!

I got a job! I was offered a long term contract position in Detroit today! I actually still have an interview next week in Detroit, so I haven't excepted but it sounds like a great position that will be a welcome challenge to my skills.

I don't even know what to say except that I will be packing my knitting up for a few weeks and getting boxes packed because I'll be in Michigan by the 4th of July!!!

In the meantime, Wicked has made it down to the armpits. And it languishes on scrap yarn, where it will sit for a while. But, it's looking good and I'll be happy to get back to it soon.

omigod! FL to wickedly cold MI? You know what that means now--you'll be knitting LOTS of wool..cashmere, alpaca, merino, yum. Good luck Kate! I guess if you're going to make a huge change you may as well do it quickly.

Hey, that Wicked looks good! How do you like the pattern? I looked at it about six times and almost ordered it. You have the opportunity to tip me over the edge on it. ;-}

I hear Detroit and Michigan have fantastic yarn shops, lucky girl! Congrats on the new job and a climate to wear all kinds of cool sweaters.
