Ok, so I am supposed to be packing. But a co-worker is having a baby girl and that is another excuse to make up Elizabeth Zimmermann's February Baby Sweater. It went much faster this time as I have learned to recognize actual stitches apparently. I topped it off with some bunny buttons that look cute but are kind of a bitch to close. Whoops.
Pattern: EZ's Baby sweater on 2 needles from Knitter's Almanac
Yarn: Caron's Simply Soft (practical but not fun)
Needles: Knitpicks options Size 6
Time to complete: about 1 week

This is so pretty! I've been eying this pattern for a while and may just have to go ahead and cast on already. Mind if I link to it?
you are taunting me with the sweater...
evil woman!!
(I kid)
That is such a sweet little sweater. I don't have anyone to make one for but yours is so pretty, I want to make one anyway. Good yarn choice for a baby and a new mother even if it's not as much fun to knit as cashmere. ;-) EZ was a genius. Think how pleased she would be to know little babies all over the world are wearing her sweaters . :-}

I'm so sorry I had to delete my previous post. I screwed up and put a portion of my confidential info in it. I'll try to do better. ;-}
Benne, you are too sweet to repost.
Where is your blog?
So beautiful--I am doing mine in a variegated koigu and want to frog b/c the plain jane variety is so much prettier...
My blog is at http://feathersong.wordpress.com
I've haven't posted in a week. New puppy who arrived sick, jury duty, and life has kept me from posting. I'm going to try and get something up today. I hang out with Joan and the other elannites. I haven't figured out how to join the ring yet. See why I ended up posting my password??? HA!
So beautiful, Kate! Any mom would love that.
Benne is on the Elann webring too. Here's her blog: http://feathersong.wordpress.com/
Oh my gosh! SO CUTE! I wish I had a baby to knit for. I find it quite pointless to knit baby stuff when it's going to just sit around until I have a use for it. That just seems sad!
